As the Operations and Maintenance Site Planner for our offshore wind farms in Taiwan, you will be pivotal in steering all site planning and coordination aspects. With a focus on wind turbine generators (WTGs), your responsibilities will include meticulous development and maintenance of our site's 'master plan', ensuring optimal scheduling of both annual and multi-year activities.You'll ensure efficient coordination across all work packages, including reviewing and validating subcontractor plans and managing logistics for helicopters, Service Operation Vessels, Jack-Up Vessels, and Crew Transfer Vessels.
Maintain and execute the 'master plan' for site activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.- Review subcontractor plans, aligning them with the master plan and preventing planning conflicts.
- Oversee logistics planning for various modes, including helicopters and different types of vessels.
- Monitor statutory inspections to ensure operational and compliant wind turbine generators.
- Manage records and archives for traceability of wind turbine maintenance work.
- Work with Operational and Engineering teams to optimise the technical performance of wind turbines and assess service provider performance.
- Work with various stakeholders to implement asset management strategies across all packages.
- Improve operational planning for maximising energy yield and minimising downtime.
- Coordinate delivery of technical solutions or changes within the project(s).
- Ensure efficient handover of wind turbines from the construction team, manage non-conformity reports, and coordinate required offshore access training.
O&M Planner – Offshore Wind
As our O&M Planner – Offshore Wind, you are proactive, ambitious, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented. Therefore, you should ideally possess the following:
Essential
- Broad experience in operations & maintenance within the wind industry, preferably offshore.
- Background in technical, electrical, mechanical, or engineering fields, supported by qualifications.
- Excellent communicator in both Mandarin and English with a proven track record in building effective business relationships.
- Comprehensive technical understanding of the entire asset and the interrelationships between technical issues in turbines, the balance of plant, grid, and their commercial implications for owners.
- Proficient in dealing with quality standards, best practice procedures, technical specifications, and regulatory compliance.
- Self-motivated, professional, organised, and process-oriented individual.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Proficient in IT, specifically Microsoft Office & SharePoint, and open to learning and utilising internal systems.
- Deep understanding of the significance of data management processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capable of establishing, maintaining, and developing effective relationships.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach with a high degree of self-drive.
- Experience in critical health and safety environments, with a commitment to fostering a robust HSE culture throughout the transition and operational start-up phase.
- Strong IT and presentation skills
Desirable
- Field experience with the site-specific turbine type and full-level training.
- Experienced in Risk Management (ISO31000) and Asset Management (ISO55000)
- Profound knowledge of operational processes in offshore wind farms
