Our client, a manufacturing company, is currently looking for a Plant Controller a.i. for the Ghent region for a period of 6 months.
Responsibilities will include:
Supervision and Follow-up of the Controlling assistant. Monthly closing activities:
- Review of Inventory valuation
- General ledger review
- Provisions: review
- Follow up of investments, calculation and booking of depreciations
- Load of financial figures in reporting software
- Variance analysis:
- Financial reporting to Luxemburg headquarters
- Monthly call reporting with headquarters management
- Quarterly forecast preparation
- Budget preparation
- Continuous improvement: constant improvements on workflows and automation of systems
- World Class Manufacturing: Cost Deployment
- Profitability by part calculation
- Hourly cost calculation
- Financial audit follow-up and submission annual accounts

The key qualifications required for this interim Plant Controller job:
You have a Master’s degree in economics or equal by experience. You have relevant experience (3 to 5 years) in an industrial environment and an advanced knowledge of Excel; good knowledge of rest of MS Office tools. SAP knowledge is a plus. You have the ability to adapt yourself to the use of new software, experience in PowerBI is a plus. You respect deadlines, have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and are a team-player. You have a good knowledge of English and Dutch.
