We are now looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to strengthen and support our data & analytics function under Adapteo Group IT. This is an exciting opportunity to come and join us on our growth journey and our mission of building adaptable societies.
About the role
In this role you gather and analyze data from multiple data sources using modern business intelligence applications and platforms such as Snowflake, Matillion, SnapLogic and Tableau. You will deliver result by helping improve the way we utilize data in our day-to-day business by automating manual tasks, automating reporting, and providing insights that supports our business leaders. You will be working closely with Adapteo’s data superusers and providing necessary training and support in everything data related. As part of Adapteo’s data team, you will collaborate within group IT as well as Adapteo’s business units’ management in varied tasks, where you can make an impact from day one.
This position reports to the BI Manager and is located in one of our head offices, either Vantaa, Finland or Solna, Sweden. Some traveling may be required to other Adapteo offices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage business intelligence solutions for the organization
- Provide and improve reporting from Adapteo’s business systems to improve business processes and provide visibility to business leaders
- Collaborate with IT team members for the purpose of driving analytics and data adaption within the organization
- Analyze business requirements and converting them into data products
- Create and maintain documentation that includes the design, requirements, project management information and user manuals for the organization
- Train, support, and coach personnel in our business units across Europe in data related matters
Skills & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. As a person, you are structured, driven and committed, with strong attention to detail. We hope you are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You also have full working proficiency in Finnish and English, other languages, especially Swedish is seen as an asset.
What we expect from you:
- Master’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- At least 2-3 years’ experience working with data and analytics
- Great understanding of technology-driven business intelligence tools
- Strong business analysis skills
Additionally, previous experience in the construction industry or experience working with databases and programming languages such as SQL, R, or similar would be considered a bonus. Familiarity with ERP systems and knowledge of finance and business controlling processes would also be advantageous.
