Technical Architect - Dublin/Hybrid - 3 month contract (rolling) - Experience in Banking or FS and ISO - 20022 is must
One of Morgan McKinley's Global Banking clients have an exciting opportunity for a Payments Solutions Architect, which is responsible for the delivery of digital payment architecture and solutions to the bank. The Payments Architect will work within the bank’s strategic Payments Programme and oversee the architecture design across a range of payments projects, including mobile wallet, instant payments, customer consent management, etc
*Must have European/UK Passport or Stamp 1G Spousal/Stamp 4 VISA*
What are we looking for?
The role will involve development of the bank’s digital payments services, solutions, and integration with external service partners and enhanced customer experience, encompassing integration with the core banking platforms, applications and services. The candidate will support the Payments Programme lead to develop the development roadmap to meet the individual project objectives to evolve the bank’s current payment channels, technologies and processes from current state to the target state.
Essentials skills required -
Expertise
- Experience in one or more of the following payments and banking solutions:
- A thorough knowledge or understanding ISO-20022. Any prior experience in MT to ISO-20022 migration/translation will be a value add.
- A knowledge or understanding of one or more of the following banking related integration standards: e.g. BIAN, UK Open Banking, SEPA, etc.
- Digital payment solutions, including credit transfer, direct-debit, mobile wallet, instant payments
- e-commerce, ATM/POS and card-based solutions, e.g. TSYS, TPII, or equivalent
- A knowledge of digital banking solutions, e.g. web/mobile channel integration, mobile wallet solutions, etc. will be an advantage
- Domestic and international payment schemes, e.g. VISA, Mastercard, BACS, CHAPS, SEPA CT/DD, SEPA instant or equivalent mobile instant payment schemes
- Integration with core accounting banking platforms and ancillary banking applications, including payment processing exception handling, recalls, settlement and reconciliation
- Enterprise integration solutions, including MQ / File based, XML/XSD, SOAP, RESTful APIs, micro-service based integration, etc.
- A solid understanding of compliance requirements in the payments space, including PSD2, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), dynamic linking etc.
- A knowledge of OAUTH based authentication solutions and integration into payment flows, e.g. to support SCA to protect online payment processing.
