We are seeking a talented Tier 2 SOC Engineer to join our growing security operations team. As a Tier 2 SOC Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving security incidents, conducting forensic analysis, and providing technical support to Tier 1 engineers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, develop incident response plans, and implement security controls. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, strong technical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine the root cause and impact.
- Perform forensic analysis of security events and conduct incident response activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to Tier 1 SOC engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop incident response plans.
- Implement and maintain security controls and monitoring systems.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
- Experience with incident response methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in network and system security analysis.
